Education Academy on Tour (E.A.T)–August 9th & 10th, Toowoomba


Through their unique E.A.T program Gymnastics Queensland will provide numerous opportunities for coaches and club administrators/managers to gain valuable updating throughout the year. EAT is a mini Congress type of program that offers coaches the opportunity to attend short, intense skill workshops across the areas of Kindergym, Cheerleading, Active Bods, Recreational Gymnastics, Gym Skills, Club Services. In addition. a range of Level 1 National Accreditation courses will also be held across the week-end event.

The next EAT event will be held in Toowoomba on August 9th & 10th .... so book early!

World Cup Cheerleading: Finals & Asia-Pacific Grand Finals


Ready... OK!

Get set for what is looking to be the largest Cheerleading & Dance competition to hit Brisbane as teams prepare for the World Cup Cheerleading Finals and Asia-Pacific Grand Final, 19-21 September, 2008.

To-date well over 1000 Cheerleaders and Dancers have been involved in Round 1 & 2 of the WCC 2008 Event series and are now all preparing for the Finals in September. We also look forward to welcoming teams from Japan, China, New Zealand, Thailand!.

Young Athlete Assistance Program – NOW OPEN


Young Athlete Assistance Program – NOW OPEN Sport & Recreation QLD has now opened the YAAP Grant. This Program aims to assist young athletes within Queensland who have competed at a State sporting championship or State school championship.
