GENERAL GYMNASTICS - STRATEGIC PLANNING

A special General Gymnastics Planning Sub-Committee has been formed and will meet in early January to commence preparing the National 2005 - 2008 Development Plan for this GymSport. It ishoped that a draft summary of the plan will be available to the wider community by April 2004. The final plan will be presented to the Sport Program Technical Assembly in September 2004 for approval.

Any individuals interested in providing feedback into the directions, priorities or key needs for the Gymsport of General Gymnastics are invited to forward this to the Federation's Development Manager, Jenny Collins at jcollins@gymnastics.org.au.

Remember, General Gymnastics includes the areas of Kindergym, Cheerleading, Gym Fun, Gym Skills, AusTeams and the Aussie GymFest. Early in the New Year members will also be able to provide feedback via the General Gymnastics Web site....so keep an eye out.

GENERAL GYMNASTICS - KINDERGYM
All clubs wishing to receiving Kindergym Benefit packs in 2004 are required to ensure that the Kindergym Service Agreement is completed as part of their 2004 Club Affiliation form. Clubs are also reminded that their registration numbers for Kindergym should closely match the number of packs they were issued this year. If there is a large variance no further packs will be issued until this area is corrected by either unused packs being returned or payment for the additional packs made.

Should you have any questions please contact the Federation's Development Manager, Jenny Collins at jcollins@gymnastics.org.au or phone (07) 3425 3022
