Gymnastics Queensland is a not-for-profit State Association and is solely responsible for the governance of Gymnastics in Queensland. The objectives of the Association are:

• to encourage, develop, promote and control all Gymnastic activities throughout the State of Queensland

• to establish and maintain, throughout the State of Queensland, a uniform code of rules and regulations to govern all Gymsport disciplines and activities under its jurisdiction

• to develop a network of successful member clubs across Queensland to deliver quality gymnastics programs

• to provide services and support, to member clubs, coaches, judges and administrators, which is second to none

• to encourage community health, welfare, physical education and research through gymnastics

• to regulate, supervise, coordinate and promote gymnastics activities, programs, competitions and events in Queensland

• to facilitate cooperation between members of the Association and external organisations, bodies and individuals

• to promote membership of the Association and foster the interests of its members

• to affiliate with organisations and any other bodies to further the purposes of the Association

• to provide a means by which Clubs in Queensland can become affiliated to further these purposes.
