The major functions of each SMC is to manage the day-to-day technical affairs of their respective Gymsport and includes the following, but not limited to:

a)    Prepare policies and regulations for Board approval;

b)    Review performance and undertake forward planning;

c)    Co-ordinate and implement day-to-day management of the Sport Program by

       agreement with the Executive Director/State Administrator.

Each SMC consists of a Chairperson plus between 2 to 6 members and is structured based on their Gymsport’s needs. The structure of each SMC is ratified by members via their annual Sport Program Technical Assembly (SPTA), along with position elections.
