All Athletes who are seeking a position on the Queensland Team MUST complete the form by 12 noon Monday 8th August to be considered for Team selection
If you do not make selection than the information will be removed.
Deposit of $800 and acceptance form will be required at the STate Team Meetings at AER State Championships
QLD Aerobic State Team Selection
(Extract from 2016 Technical Regulations)
220.127.116.11 Levels, International and AeroDance / AeroStep Stream
All Aerobic Gymnastics Athletes must compete in at least one (1) GQ sanctioned Aerobic Gymnastics event in order to qualify to compete in the GQ Aerobic Gymnastics State Championships
The GQ entered event must be in the same year as the State Championships. If an athlete is unable to compete due to injury, or extraordinary circumstances, e.g. competing in an international event, a letter of explanation and/ or medical certificate must be submitted prior to the event to the Sports Management Committee (C/- GQ Aerobic Gymnastics Program Manager).
8.5.3 SMC Discretion – Extenuating Circumstances
At the discretion of the SMC the following extenuating circumstances may be taken into consideration with regard to qualification for State Team selection
- Exemptions based on merit with approval from SMC
- Australian representative
